What happened between Ravi and Tilak Verma?

New DelhiIndia’s Ravi Bishnoi said that he and Tilak Verma did not give up in the second T20 match against England on Saturday. Rather they told each other that they would win. India achieved the target of 166 runs with four balls remaining and won the close match by two wickets. In which Tilak Verma scored unbeaten 72 runs in 55 balls and Bishnoi supported him.

Ravi Bishnoi said after the match, “I told Tilak that let’s try, we will achieve it. He (Verma) was set and I did not want to play the shot in a hurry. Because we had less wickets left. Just today I posted a reel on Instagram, in which it was written why only batsmen should have fun. When I came to slip, I knew he (Liam Livingstone) would try to get me out with leg-spin. But I hit him for a four on spin.”

Talking about his partnership with Bishnoi, Verma said, “I told him to maintain his shape and hit the shots at the gap. He played a flick on the ball from Livingstone and hit a four, which made it a little easier.” Captain Suryakumar Yadav felt relieved at India’s victory after being in serious trouble at one time. He said there was some relief. The way the game was going, we thought 160 was good, but the way England bowled. It was good that the game continued till the last minute. “We have been playing with an extra batsman for the last few series.”
