To help the pilgrims in Mahakumbh 2025, a new AI chatbot has been launched which will provide information about parking, food courts and hospitals. MeitY has also included a Bhashini tool, which will translate into 11 languages.

To help pilgrims during Mahakumbh 2025, a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot has been launched which is providing information about parking, food courts and hospitals within a radius of 1 kilometer. The new version of this chatbot is specially designed to assist the devotees and these three new features have been added to it.
The AI chatbot will not only provide a complete map of the Maha Kumbh, but will also share specific information about each area. Will also give Google Map link. Through this chatbot, devotees can get information on parking, transportation, banking, public water ATM and other services in seconds.

According to the government, through the chatbot, devotees can download a real-time PDF, which will have information about toilets, lost and found centres, exhibitions and other important places. By scanning a QR code, information about important places will be immediately available on the mobile. Lakhs of devotees have already used this AI chatbot.
“With its effective and user-friendly design, it is greatly enhancing the convenience for those participating in the Maha Kumbh,” the government said. He also added that the confluence of technology and faith through this chatbot is making the world’s largest religious event simple and organized.
Bhashini is erasing linguistic distance
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has included its AI-driven language translation tool ‘Bhasini’ at the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj to increase accessibility in 11 languages. Bhashini’s language translation ecosystem will help participants of the world’s largest spiritual gathering through ‘Digital Lost and Found Solutions’.
People can register lost/found items using voice in their native languages and have real-time text/voice translation for easy communication at mega events using this platform. It also offers multilingual chatbot support for queries and kiosk navigation.
Language will not be a barrier
Devotees can use the mobile app to translate the guidelines into local languages as well as have seamless communication with police officials. The Uttar Pradesh Police Department has collaborated with Bhashini App to train field officers to use the Converse feature present in the app to understand the complaints of distressed devotees seeking help in case of language barrier.
