Former actress Mamta Kulkarni has become Shreemai Mamta Nand Giri after retiring. Recently, Mamta reached Rajat Sharma’s show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’. In the show, he has spoken openly about his work and controversies in Bollywood.
I didn’t know what the nudity is
When Rajat asked her about her famous semi nude photoshoot in the show, Mamta said- ‘I used to study in ninth grade. Stardust magazine people showed me a photo of actress Demi Moore. I did not find anything wrong in it. I had also made a statement at that time that I am still a virgin and this thing has not been digested by people because according to them people do anything to come to Bollywood. Perhaps people would do this and come to Bollywood for money. But this was not the case with me. My father was a transport commissioner. I did not know anything about sex and nudity. If you are not sexually conscious, then you will not be able to connect the nudity vulgarly.

There was no attention on song lyrics
In the 90s, Mamta has done songs like ‘Koi Jaane To Laye Aaye’, ‘Ranaaji Ko Ranaji Maafna’, whose lyrics have been very bold. When the host of the show questioned her on her bold songs, Mamta says- ‘Madhuri Dixit or someone else, we do not listen to lyrics or lines as a dancer. Our Fox used to be on our dance steps. I never paid attention to lyrics.
Director requests for the item number of ‘deadly’
The song ‘Koi Jaane To La Aaye’ from the film ‘Mathakat’ is a superhit item number. Mamta was well liked in this song. Regarding this song, Mamta told that she had returned to the world tour with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan before her shooting. The film’s heroine Meenakshi Sushdri was married, due to which the film was not being found. The film remained canned for seven years. In such a situation, the director of the film Rajkumar Santoshi requested me to do this song for him. I was good at the stage show, I took my dance number like a stage show.
