Actress Manisha Koirala has told that older actresses are sidelined in the industry. He does not get good roles in films. Just the role of sister or mother is offered.
Manisha also revealed that she was not allowed to be a part of the round table conference 2-3 times because of her age. However, Manisha says that she will continue to work as long as she is alive.

Women are trolled because of their age
In a conversation with Free Press General, Manisha said – Be it in the industry or anywhere else, aging is an issue for women. We feel ashamed. I have never heard any troller tell a man that he is old. But women are trolled for this.
I remember being sidelined for a round table conference on grounds of age. They told me that it is for people of a certain age. I have seen this happen at least during 2-3 round table conferences. I was sidelined because of my age. It affects us.
Manisha said- As long as I am alive, I will keep working
Manisha further said- We need to show the world and ourselves that even after the age of 50, we can do wonders. We can still live a wonderful life. We can still be good at our profession. We can still live a very happy and healthy life. As long as I am alive, I want to work and stay healthy. I want to look beautiful.
Many people think that she is old, how can she work? Or only sister or mother roles are offered. Women can also do powerful roles. They can be fabulous, lively and full of enthusiasm. Many actresses have done this before me and I also want to do the same. I still have the hunger to do more. I want to progress as an artist. Age is just a number. 50 is just a number and it won’t stop me.
