Udaipur. Nishcha Singh Chauhan of Udaipur has been appointed as the head coach of Rajasthan’s Kayak Cross and Cani Salalom team at the 38th National Games to be held in Uttarakhand. This appointment has been made by the Rajasthan Olympic Association, which is a matter of pride not only for Udaipur but for the whole of Rajasthan.
Shivpuri golf course of Rishikesh will be organized
Dilip Singh Chauhan, chairman of the Indian Dragon Boat Team and Senior Vice President of Rajasthan Kayiking-Canoying Association informed that the competition is being organized under the joint aegis of the Olympic Association of India (IOA) and the Government of Uttarakhand. The National Games will be held on 4 and 5 February 2025 in Shivpuri Golf Course in Rishikesh.
Players across the country will be seen in the competition
Players from 28 states and 8 union territories will participate in this National Games. A total of 9,720 players will participate in the competition, including 4,941 male and 4,779 female players. This will be the 38th edition of the National Games, in which 4 performance programs will also be organized with 32 sports.
Coach Nishchai Singh Chauhan’s experience and contribution
Rajasthan Olympic Association President Tejashwi Gehlot and Secretary Surendra Gurjar said that Nishchay Singh Chauhan is a veteran coach of sports related to Jal sports such as kayaking, canoeing, dragon boat and canoi Salalom. He has deep understanding and technical expertise in these games. He will not only focus on the technological development of the players but will also strengthen the team’s strategies. In the past too, under his guidance, many players of Rajasthan have represented the Indian team internationally and have won national medals.

Nishcha Singh himself has also been a medalist of international level and has achieved success as the coach of Indian and Rajasthan team many times. Goal to achieve a new place
Coach Nishchai Singh Chauhan said that it is a matter of pride for me to get this responsibility. My aim is to bring the team to the highest level. Together we will move towards excellence and make new records in this National Games. His appointment will prove to be a new direction and inspiration for Rajasthan’s Water Sports.
