Strict decision of Ponting
Ricky Ponting revealed in a podcast called ‘The Haui Games’ that he had a long conversation with the owners during the auction. He said that Punjab is the four key owners of Kings, but now it is his team and everyone has to accept it.
Ricky Ponting said, “Now this is my team. The passion of the owners is fine, but the direct dialogue with the players will be only through me. They can question me, but will not directly interfere in the internal matters of the team.”
Ricky Ponting said that the team owners directly impact on the players can spoil the atmosphere of the dressing room, so they have made it clear that the decisions related to the team will take the same.
