Rupali Ganguly Emotional Post: Today is the birth anniversary of actress Rupali Ganguly’s late father Anil Ganguly. The actress shared an emotional post on social media and called him her ‘hero’. The actress, who considered her father as a ‘teacher’, said that her father believed that we have come here (entertainment industry) not to earn money but to earn karma.

The actress shared a video on Instagram and remembered her late father on his birth anniversary and also shared her heartfelt feelings. Rupali also told fans about her father’s struggles and difficulties. Sharing the emotion-filled video on Instagram, the actress wrote in the caption, “We have come here not to earn money, but to earn karma, my hero, my teacher, my father.”
Ganguly further said, “We always feel that we are with you. Not a day goes by when we don’t get a sign that you are watching us. Whatever good thing happens to us is the result of your education, guidance and blessings. Thank you for being a father who did not pander to his children, but inspired them to break the norms, struggle and realize their potential. We want you as our father in every birth because love like yours cannot be found anywhere. Happy birthday papa, proud to be your child.”
The video montage shared features old black and white photographs of Rupali Ganguly’s father Anil Ganguly, along with a clip in which Rupali was seen saying, “My father struggled a lot. He fled Kolkata and came to Mumbai. Shared a room with singer Jagjit Singh.”
Let us tell you, Rupali Ganguly’s father Anil Ganguly was a famous Bollywood film producer. He died in 2016 at the age of 82. He produced films like Jaya Bachchan starrer ‘Kora Kagaz’ (1974) and Rakhi starrer ‘Tapasya’ (1976). He also included the 1985 film ‘Saheb’, in which Anil Kapoor and Amrita Singh were in the lead roles and Rupali worked as a child artiste.
