Triumph Speed T4 Sees Significant Price Drop

Triumph Motorcycles has announced a significant price drop for its entry-level motorcycle, the Triumph Speed T4. The bike, which was initially launched at a price of Rs 2.17 lakh (ex-showroom), is now available for just Rs 1.99 lakh, thanks to a year-end discount of Rs 18,000.

Year-End Offer

The offer is valid until stocks last and is part of Triumph’s strategy to boost sales during the festive season. The Speed T4, a toned-down version of the Speed 400, features a 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, producing 30.6 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 36 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm.

Features and Specifications

Despite the price cut, the Speed T4 retains many of the features that make it a competitive option in the 400cc segment. It comes with a six-speed gearbox, bias-ply tyres, and a conventional telescopic front fork setup. The bike is available in three color options: White, Red, and Black.

Market Response

The price drop comes as a response to the market’s demand for more affordable motorcycles. Triumph had initially set a monthly sales target of 10,000 units for its 400cc bikes, but sales figures have been lower than expected. This discount aims to attract more buyers and clear out inventory before the end of the year.

Customer Reactions

Customers have welcomed the price drop, seeing it as an opportunity to own a Triumph motorcycle at a more accessible price. The Speed T4’s combination of performance and affordability makes it an attractive option for new riders and enthusiasts alike.
