You will get relief from Call Drop, now you will be able to make calls even if there is no signal, the government has launched this service; Know details

Even in the era of 4G-5G, if your mobile does not have network, then it is of no use. If there is no network in your phone, you can neither call anyone nor use the internet. In common language, your phone is a box without mobile network. There can be no use of it. However, now the solution to this problem has come. Actually, the Government of India has launched Intra Circle Roaming (ICR) service.

India’s Department of Telecommunications launched ICR on January 17, with the help of which mobile users will be able to connect even without network. No matter which company your SIM card belongs to, with the help of ICR you will be able to make calls even without network. This means that if your Jio network is not working somewhere, then your mobile network will be connected to the Airtel network present there and you will be able to use the phone.

While launching the ICR service, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said, “With the help of this service, three telecom operators BSNL, Airtel and Jio will benefit. Under this facility, connectivity is being offered with about 27,836 sites. Till now, DBN-funded towers were available only to the telecom operator that installed them, preventing other users from connecting to these towers.”

Fraudulent phone calls will be curbed

On the other hand, the Department of Telecommunications launched Sanchar Sathi mobile app on Friday. This will make it easier for people to report any suspected fraud directly from their mobile phone call logs. Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia also launched two other initiatives of the Department of Telecommunications, the vision for National Broadband Mission 2.0 and ‘Intra Circle Roaming’ on 4G mobile sites of Digital India Fund.

The Sanchar Saathi platform of the Department of Telecommunications, introduced in 2023, has proven to be an effective mechanism in cracking down on fraudulent phone calls. The new app will double down on these efforts by ensuring a safe environment for customers. Launching the app, Scindia said that the Sanchar Sathi initiative provides a secure environment where the privacy and security of each customer is protected.
